Objective and Demografics

First of all, our group have make a decision on taking up the state of Perak as our project. We actually devided into 5 places where mainly all of them are the most famous places while they too have the best attraction in Perak. Those places are, Ipoh where it is the largest city in Perak, follow by Taiping where full of historical building and places, Kuala Kangsar where is call as (Bandar Diraja) Royal Town and where the"Royal Palace" is located at, a Bukit Merah where currently developing into a town with a amusement park in it and finally the Lumut and Pulau Pangkor where it is he best place for vacation due to the sandy clean clear beach.

We mainly choose Perak as our places to visit due to many of this place are really very attractive no matter in what kind of way. We can see tourist hanging around Perak all the time even in weekdays or weekend including foreigner.

Hence from here, our group decided to create a webpage where it is more easier to view and simple to use due to our visitors will be mainly more to elders and families (30 years old and above). We will do it in more colourful and more photo due to photo are usually much more attractive compare to words. Some of the elders are not use to internet and computers so it is more important to have a more friendly webpage. We will provide as much as possible information about accomodation, places of interest, food, culture and transportation to ensure our page visitors are satisfied.

Since our team have 5 members, we have equally devided the task equally where I, Yeong Chen Yip will be taking Taiping town as Taiping do have many kind of historical place. This place mainly target the elders due to more historical places to visit rather than places to play. The life in Taiping is rather relaxing such as they have large garden and lake (Lake Garden) and also the Maxwell Hill. Other than that, there are first railway station, zoo, and also jail.

Yoon Voon Phin will be taking Ipoh, where we will be targeting visitors from all sorts of ages and also family vacation. This is due to Ipoh have many food from diference kind of races. Futher more, there are also many small hills where the famous cave located at. Other than that, there are many major gourvenment building where is very nice to snap photo with. There is also a theme park open by Sunway Cooperation call as the Lost World Of Tambun. Hot spring also located at the side of Tambun.

This will Low Pei Wen will be taking Pulau Pangkor, where this place target all sort of people from all around the ages even the foreigner due to their sandy beach. First of all there are very big and luxuriuos hotel where YTL Cooperation where the hotel room is located outside the beach where the sea is right below the resort. Other than that, Pangkor have many factory producing dry seafood where tourist are allowed to visit. Than, there is a small town where they provide local crusine to tourist. The beach there are clean and clear while the water there are perfectly good for swimming.

Tee Yong Sing will be taking Bukit Merah where it is located around 20 KM away from Taiping. This place usually target a group of family. It is a good place to relax while have fun due to in Bukit Merah there is a theme park where whole family are able to enjoy the water games and also dry games. Other than that, there is a big human made lake where it is so call as the place where many arowana from various species are breed there. There is also one and only park where it have a forest reserve for the "Orang Utan" where they actually subsidies by the gourvenment to breed this "going to" extince animals. This forest is open for visting all day long.

Finally Goay Swee An will be taking Kuala Kangsar. We are targeting tourist in the elderly age due to the places to visits is more to the historical and cultural sides. We can see that many Royal Palace is located at the town of Kuala Kangsar. The Royal Museum of Perak is also located at that place where many Royal family gifts are kept in that place. Kuala Kangsar also famous as the first rubber tree were planted in Kuala Kangsar.
